Introducing FloatVue LLC - Learn more about our wireless monitoring/control system for yachts and commerical craft.
Our Story
FloatVue products have been created by the tireless efforts of its founder alone who has provided electronic/electrical servicing and custom systems for many yachts and commercial customers over the years.
A combination of his time behind the wheel, time in many engine rooms, a continuing quest for knowledge as an Electrical Engineer, his love of man-machine electronic interface technology have made this all possible. Many years of power and sailboat ownership, the discipline provided by the U.S. Navy and input from Artificial Intelligence have helped make this dream come true.
His philosophy of hard work and honest products must surely be a result of his midwest farmboy beginnings. FloatVue products are cost effective and reliable and present the operator with high resolution, colorful displays that can easily be configured by the average boat owner and incorporate wireless technology.
Our Features
Our versatile product line provides the operator monitoring and control of the entire boat or simply one channel such as a Rudder Angle Indicator or Bow Thruster battery voltage without having to run wires through the boat. Our Windows based system displays on your current chart plotter, a dedicated monitor, a 4k TV set or even a laptop.
Our wireless hardware is designed to be easily installed by the boat owner/captain/mate/engineer and the display offers great flexibility allowing the user to create/add as many pages as necessary and drag and drop any gauge, bargraph, indicator or switch necessary.
Key feature: A simple one sensor system is available.
The good news is that it is not necessary to purchase a full blown monitoring system. Monitoring one or two sensors (Rudder Angle Indicator or a remote Fuel Tank for example) is easily accomplished. A small battery powered module (located next to the sensor) reads the sensor output and transmits it to another small module in the wheelhouse. This wheelhouse module output delivers the data to a small computer which puts the information on the screen. This is a great cost effective way to start building a system.
The screenshots below show a sample of the many display pages available in the FloatVue system for a typical 40 to 100 foot motor yacht. Each page is fully customizable — place the required drag and drop gauges, indicators, and controls for the application. One simple page may be all required for a small single engine boat. Very easy to delete the pages below and start with one page.
